FAQs
What is The Diabetic Test Strip Dispenser?
The Diabetic Test Strip Dispenser is a dispenser for test strips commonly used to measure the blood glucose of those with diabetes. It helps remove the hassle of getting one test strip out at a time, contributing to regular blood glucose monitoring. Frequent monitoring is essential to having well-regulated blood glucose levels, thus lowering HbA1c results (AKA: Being Healthier!). This can be the difference between a long, healthy lifestyle and potential medical complications linked to unmonitored and uncontrolled blood glucose levels.
Will The Diabetic Test Strip Dispenser work with my blood glucose test strips?
We have designed The Diabetic Test Strip Dispenser to be compatible with most blood glucose test strips, with two sizes available. You can look through some compatible machines and test strips listed here. If you are still waiting to see your blood glucose test strips or meter listed on the site, you may contact us directly here with the name of your blood glucose test strips, and we will quickly get back to you regarding compatibility.
How are your products made?
Due to the intricate + unique designs, they are currently made using a polymer additive manufacturing process (3D Printing). We are currently working towards raising funds to develop an injection mold to lower the cost.
What age are your products appropriate for?
Our products are appropriate for all* ages! Some parts are very small and could be a choking hazard if they are broken off. We recommend keeping them away from children who may swallow small pieces.
*Choking Hazard - Not intended for children under three years of age.
What is the cost of shipping?
Shipping varies depending on the platform and location from which you order. All platforms that we will be shipping through should clearly state the shipping costs. Please feel free to contact us directly if you have any questions.
I'm having issues getting The Diabetic Test Strip Dispenser to work. Are there any tips or tricks?
We are sorry to hear that! Sometimes, the test strips can collect static electricity, not be fully cut and stick together, or not be lined up correctly with the spout. Try turning the Diabetic Test Strip Dispenser around the container in 45° increments before shaking it into your hand. This trick usually breaks the test strips apart from each other, and they should shake out as designed.
